“Gosh, I have so enjoyed this and feel like you have helped me sooo much. I feel like you have helped me get my confidence back at a time I really needed it. I also feel like a gained a really cool, fashionable frien (59).png

October is the month of our Rosary and just in time! Are you with me?!

And as you probably know, Wednesday we celebrated Our Lady of the Rosary.

In 1571, Pope Pius V declared October 7 as the feast day to Our Lady of the Rosary, after a MIRACULOUS victory at the Battle of Lepanto (also regarded as one of the most historic naval defeats). Before battle, Pope Pius encouraged everyone to pray the Rosary and every man carried a rosary into battle. The Rosary and Our Lady were the real forces in this battle.

In The Secrets of the Rosary, by St. Louis de Montfort (love him!), we learn that Our Blessed Lady wants us to use the rosary to reform the world:

At this point Our Lady appeared to him, accompanied by three Angels, and she said:
‘Dear Dominic, do you know which weapon the Blessed Trinity wants us to use to reform the world?’
‘Oh, my Lady,’ answered Saint Dominic, ‘you know far better than I do because, next to your Son, Jesus Christ, you have always been the chief instrument of our salvation.’
Then Our Lady replied:
‘I want you to know that, in this kind of warfare, the battering ram has always been the angelic Psalter which is the foundation stone of the New Testament. Therefore if you want to reach these hardened souls and win them over to God, preach my Psalter.

And there you have it! From the lips! Mary wants us to pray our rosary to convert hardened hearts.

Now, we talk a lot about fashion here at Meghan Ashley Styling (obviously), but it’s important to remember that we can wear specific clothing, accessories and Sacramentals as a means of grace!

SO.... in honor of the month of the Rosary, I thought we’d highlight some fabulous rosary bracelets and rings, so that we are always prepped and ready to slip in a decade when we can!

I hope you will enjoy these beautiful pieces as much as I do!

Happy praying!!
